From the front desk, begin walking straight through the casino and bear right after The Lobby Bar. Walk straight toward the KA Theatre and then take a right toward The District. Walk through The District passing Morimoto, Hecho and CSI to go down the escalators out to the pool. Online it stated that the pool was opened. When we arrived we found out that it was closed but the pool at the signature could be used (though the pool there is far less impressive and would not have been a factor when we booked, and the MGM pool was initially). Resort fee did not seem to go to much. Fridge was locked with no instructions on how to open and utilize. This pool alone keeps bringing us back to MGM Grand. Fast, friendly wait staff enhance the experience. The lazy river is great for people watching and enjoying time with friends. Recommend reserving a day bed if you have two people, since you are probably going to spend that much on drinks and food anyway, and you have your own place to stretch out and shade in the summer. When it comes to the 5,044-room, upscale MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, "grand" is the operative word.
